What is VIP Buyback?

• VIP Buyback is the ultimate level of service in textbook buyback. El Corral Bookstore invented VIP Buyback in Fall 2002, and we remain the only university bookstore to offer this service.

What are the benefits of VIP Buyback?

• Convenience: You sell back by appointment (or without).
• Early Buyback: You beat the buyback quotas by selling back ahead of the final exams week crowds.
• Extended Book Use: You may keep any book you sell back for further study. We pay the promised price when you return the book after the exam.
• Highest Buyback Price: We pay you the highest buyback price for any book we re-sell to Cal Poly students.
• Price Protection: If you sell back a book which acquires a higher buyback price, we pay you the higher price.
• Market Protection: If a book with no buyback value acquires buyback value, we pay you the highest buyback price.

Who is eligible for VIP Buyback?

• If you reserve textbooks for an academic term, you are eligible for VIP Buyback at the end of the same term. If you are eligible, do not hesitate to sign up for VIP Buyback by Appointment. Appointments could be limited to a number smaller than the number of qualifying textbook reservations.
