El Corral Bookstore provides opportunities on and off campus for career, part-time, and student employment.
On Campus:
Off Campus:
Career Employment is regular employment, generally full-time, with excellent benefits.
Part-Time Employment is casual or intermittent employment, which may not exceed 950 hours per year (July 1 through June 30). Cal Poly students are eligible for student employment instead of part-time employment.
Student Employment is generally part-time and always restricted to Cal Poly students, who may work no more than 35 hours per week during fall, winter, and spring terms. Cuesta College students are eligible for part-time employment instead of student employment.
20% Employee Discount is available to regular employees upon hiring and to part-time and student employees after 100 hours of work. This discount applies to most purchases (excluding computer hardware and software) at El Corral Bookstore, Cal Poly Downtown, and Pony Prints.
